About
About The Granges
The Granges is an escape game hotel set in a 650 m² manor in Béthencourt, in northern France. You play, dine, sleep and have breakfast there, as a private group or a company team of 6 to 14 people. Opening in December 2026.
What The Granges does
The full night, for private groups
The escape game is called Les Secrets de Béthencourt. It starts at 6 pm. Dinner, the night in the manor and the next morning's breakfast are part of the experience. For a birthday, a hen or stag party or a weekend with friends, the stay is booked as a private group, from €142 per person.
Team building and company retreats
The manor hosts company teams of 6 to 14 people, for a game night or a retreat with accommodation on site. Pricing is on quote, depending on the programme. Write to us through the contact page.
The afternoon format
Groups who are not staying overnight can play in the afternoon, from 6 to 14 people. Requests go through the contact page.
What makes The Granges different
The largest escape game hotel in France
The estate covers 650 m², including the barn and the basement. The game uses the whole manor, not a single room. Our comparison of overnight escape games in France covers the other venues and their formats.
One group per night
The estate is booked privately. Your group has the manor to itself, from the start of the game to breakfast.
A true story
The plot draws on the history of the house and of Marie-Victoire de Béthencourt (1876-1942), who lived in the manor. It is an investigation, not a horror game.
Six bedrooms, including two suites
They sleep 14, up to 3 people per room, and each has its own private bathroom: four bedrooms of 14 to 16 m² and two suites over 20 m², Victoire on the ground floor and Armand upstairs. The bedrooms carry the first names of the owners' children and of Victoire. The Suite Victoire, on the ground floor, avoids the stairs.
What the price includes
The price covers the game, dinner, the night and breakfast. There is no hidden extra for the meal or the room.
